Wearing graduation cap & gown has been in academic culture for the past so many years now. Any academic institution whether it is a kindergarten school or high school, they follow their own graduation regalia that every student will have to follow if they want to attend their graduation ceremony.

Due to this trend of wearing caps & gown in the graduation ceremony the prices of these have gone up. The prices have increased so much so that it has gone out of the hands of the normal family. Whether the prices are high or low you can avoid them. Your child will have to wear them for his kindergarten graduation ceremony. You cannot tell him not to attend the ceremony simply because you cannot afford to buy him a graduation cap and gown. Buying new cap & gown is expensive for you right now. Contact your child’s school to see if they are renting graduation cap and gown for their students. If they are renting them, then take your child to the school and let him try the graduation dress of their size. You will also have to see if the school rent is fine with you or not. If you find the school rent for the graduation cap and gown then go for it. Make sure that the rented graduation cap and gown fits well in your child. Also see if there the buttons, zippers, strings are well in place and does not require any alteration. If there is anything to mend then do it before the ceremony day and do not keep it for the last moment.

If you find that the school is charging high amount for their graduation cap and gown then it is better that you search for some other places. You can rent the graduation dress from any store selling graduation cap and gown. They have large collection of these as it is there running business. Every year some or the other schools or colleges have their graduation ceremony scheduled. Parents and children flock to these shops to take graduation cap and gown for the occasion. Some take it on rent because they do not appreciate the idea of spending so much money on something which will be of use just once. Therefore they think of fulfilling their need through a rented cap and gown. Others take graduation regalia on rent as they find buying new ones very costly.

You can find out from your friends whose kids have graduated previous year if they know of some place. Every city has a place where second hand products are sold. It will be good if you can buy a second hand graduation cap and gown for your child. You can at least keep the memories of your child’s graduation safe with you.
